We’re looking for Online Support Group Volunteers over the age of 18 years old, across Scotland.
Opportunities across Scotland’s fourteen health boards:
Shetland, Orkney, Western Isles, Highland, Grampian, Tayside, Forth Valley, Fife, Greater Glasgow and Clyde, Lothians, Lanarkshire, Ayrshire and Arran, Borders, Dumfries and Galloway.
Days and Times: Thursdays from 10:30 am to 11:30 am.
The volunteers will:
Support the running of the online group for Younger People’s café, Carers Café and General Café.
The role is to help support the running of the online peer support groups, therefore a knowledge of Zoom would be useful, but training can be provided.
- Helping to book in and schedule Zoom meetings.
- Communicating with members via email and other channels.
- Gathering feedback online from members.
- Advertised volunteering opportunities.
You will need to become a member of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme.
