Updated 18 March 2020

We’re doing all we can to protect stroke survivors and their families, our staff and volunteers during the developing Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation. To avoid putting people at risk we have taken the decision to cancel all prevention events, including blood pressure testing, until at least the end of May 2020.

Registered Events

If you’ve registered an event with us before the end of May 2020, we will contact you with more details.

New Event Registrations

We won’t be registering any new prevention events for the time being. We’re supporting our staff to work from home and are making the move to close our offices around the UK. As a result, we are also currently unable to send out leaflets and other materials.

Stroke Prevention Day

We still intend to hold Stroke Prevention Day, which is planned for 15 May 2020, however, no on-the-ground events will go ahead. Instead, we will be focusing on sharing stroke prevention messages across social media.

Ongoing

We are monitoring the coronavirus situation and will keep updating this page. We will reopen event registrations when government guidance advises this is appropriate.
