Description

Chatterboxes – Buckley Communication Group is a communication support group offering help to people who have had a brain injury or stroke and may be experiencing language difficulties and aphasia. The group is led by volunteers and it is run with affiliation to the Stroke Association.
A team of dedicated and enthusiastic volunteers lend support through a variety of activities which include: , quizzes, games, discussions; andgentle exercise (such as 'LIFT'- Low Impact Functional Training). Also, from time to time the group has guest speakers, presentations and musical entertainment in addition to the group outings.
If you are interested in joining the group either as a member or volunteer, then do come along. A warm welcome of tea, coffee and biscuits is guaranteed
