If you or someone you know has had a stroke, you’ll understand the impact it can have on daily life, from mobility problems and communication difficulties to emotional changes.
You’re not alone. Come along to your local stroke group and meet others who’ve been affected by stroke. You’ll be able to share your experiences and tips for dealing with stroke, as well as enjoying a range of activities.
This group meets every Friday at mid-day at St Patrick's Church, Broad Green, Woodingdean. The group is non-denominational, and each week rotates between activities like games, quizzes, guest speakers/ musicians and days out to restaurants or local beauty spots. The group runs its own wheelchair accessible minibus, so members can be picked up from home, and days out are fairly hassle-free for members and families.

This group is part of the Stroke Group Network - a vital community of stroke support groups across the UK.
