Speakeasy is an award winning charity dedicated to improving the lives of people affected by aphasia. We offer information, support , therapeutic activity and meaningful opportunities to help people with aphasia build confidence and skills and to reconnect with others.
Our service is supported by speech and language therapists and people with lived experience of aphasia. We offer a variety of face to face and online support, tailored to individual's needs and designed to support people to join in when communication is difficult.
Joining criteria: For people impacted by aphasia including those with aphasia their family, friends or carers.Our focus is on supporting people to join in conversations and to build confidence in their communication by offering a range of activity and opportunities. These also include other activities linked to wellbeing such as health, exercise, creativity, music, volunteering and 'doing more'.

This group is part of the Stroke Group Network - a vital community of stroke support groups across the UK. As it is independently run, we will need to share your details in order for them to provide support.
