Description

Woking Strokeability is a group set up to assist stroke survivors and help their carers. We are a small friendly group that has charitable status.
The purpose of Woking Strokeability is to provide support, aerobic and aqua aerobic exercise with qualified instructors and social events for stroke survivors and their carers. On Saturdays after the gym, we meet socially for a coffee or at a local pub and on Tuesdays after the pool for lunch at a local golf club.
We arrange social get togethers including a summer BBQ and Christmas lunch. Fundraising includes events such as coffee mornings, bingo nights and race nights. In addition, we provide the opportunities to go sailing locally at RYA Papercourt and once a month in summer to sail on the Solent in a wheelchair accessible catamaran. You can find out more on our website - https://wokingstrokeability.com/
