This March we’re taking part in Free Wills Month, with participating solicitors supporting charities in towns and cities in England.

If you or your partner are aged 55 or over you can make or update your Will completely free of charge. You must make your appointment by Saturday 31 March, although the actual meeting can take place after this time. The offer covers simple Wills and mirror Wills (Wills containing nearly identical instructions).

You don’t have to leave a legacy to the Stroke Association to take part but we’d be immensely grateful if you did consider the difference a gift in your Will could make.

Arthur's story

When Arthur had a stroke he thought life would never be the same again. But Arthur struck back. Determined to recover, and with the help of the Stroke Association, Arthur threw himself into his favourite hobby – building model boats. That very same year Arthur went from being semi-paralysed to winning the top prize at the Blackpool boat competition.

Legacy gifts fund almost half our work, helping us support people affected by stroke and fund life-saving research. Thanks to the people who remember us in their Will more people like Arthur are conquering stroke every day.
