Stroke information
The physical effects of stroke are varied, and no two people will experience the same thing. After a stroke, you might have muscle weakness, fatigue, or problems like spasticity and joint pain. Fortunately, most people make significant improvements in the months following their stroke.
This guide explains some of the most common physical effects of a stroke, and how they are usually diagnosed and treated. It also explains what your rehabilitation might involve, and describes some of the medication that might be available to help you.
